A common misconception is that when writing articles you should warm up your reader and have them in presell mood for when they click on your link. This unfortunately could not be further from the truth. Most people when they are searching for things on the internet are normally looking for information first, so this is what the content of your article should be about. If you seriously want your prospective reader to take your article seriously then try to write as though they are your best friend. This is something that I learnt as a member of Article Production as well as many other tips.
The way you want to structure your article is to answer a question that they may be asking but in a way where the only way that they can get the answer is by clicking through to your site. What you must not do however is send them directly to a sales page as this is a sure fire way of losing them from ever reading any of your articles again. You want to appear as though all you are trying to do is help them to solve their problem and not just trying to sell them something.
Although the above is normally the case there will be times when you should send people directly to a sales page or an affiliate link. The time to do this is when your article is promoting what is known as a buying keyword. With these keywords you know that your reader is in a buying mood and you can presell to your hearts content.

If you answer yes to any of the above questions then you are probably suffering from what is know as information overload. What you need to do is pick one aspect of internet marketing, whether it be article marketing or video marketing e.t.c. and stick to it. This will take focus and overcoming many obstacles, but if you can do this then there is no reason why you will not become successful. Once you have decided on your marketing strategy you need to unsubscribe to any lists that do not relate to your strategy, this will stop you from losing track.
Whichever strategy you intend to use you must understand that it will not magically happen overnight for you. Unfortunately most of these you can make 1000’s in a week courses and products will not help you. Yes these products do work but not for anybody just starting out in the world of internet marketing. These products are mostly aimed at those that have large lists to market to, but unfortunately this is not mentioned in the flashy sales letters that you see.
How many times have you downloaded one of these free e-books and courses and thought yes this is the one, I am going to make money with this. Then a week later the next best free thing drops into your e-mail inbox and you say to your self ”this one is better”, I think I will try this instead. Another week later and again in your inbox is another great product that will make you money.
Can you see what is happening, before you know it is six week down the road and you have not really started with anything. Think what could have happened if you had just decided to stay with the first product you were sent. You would have been working on the same project for six weeks and have a lot of articles or videos out there. You would be starting to get traffic to your site and possibly making some sales.
Internet marketing is not a get rich overnight business it takes a lot of work and often there will be times when you think that it will not work. You just have to stick in there, overcome any obstacles and you will reach your goal. You need to give each strategy at least three months to see if it is going to work as you should be seeing some results by then.
