AdSense publishers in North America and Europe can now allow ads from Google-certified ad networks to appear on their pages. These ads will compete with AdWords ads, and will help publishers earn the most from every ad impression by increasing competition. At the same time, publishers will have full control over which ads and ad networks can appear on their pages. For more information, visit www.google.com

Doesn’t seem like there is any adjustment on our end as well. Works by me!
This is cool, yo!
more garbage 10 cent cpms ads coming from crappy ad networks
This is such a bad idea. Bad Google, Bad! This is being evil. You are now raising the cost of ad on your own network and giving your own customer base the ol’ well (fu) to be quite frank. By allowing other networks to outbid your own customer base you are in essence just trying to gain more revenue and asking that your own customer base (who has been very loyal) to go take a hike. I’m not very happy about this decision you’ve made and I hope many others will agree.
there’s nothing here that demonstrates bad or good. On the one hand, it would appear that whatever ads land on our pages, it’s because those ad buyers are outbidding others, giving us publishers more revenue. On the other hand, the revenue must also be split among more middlemen, which could leave us worse off. Can someone (Google) articulate sample scenarios where we publishers benefit, and those where we might not so we can decide what might be best for our own sites?

I’m getting extremely irrelevant ads on my site…BLOCKING ALL “GOOGLE CERTIFIED” NETWORKS!
I find the text ads are pretty relevant – it’s the image ads on my site and blog that seem to not always hit the mark.
Awesome
Hopefully this corrects the plummeting eCPMs I’ve been receiving lately.

Tem algum video destes em portugues
A great new way to inform people. I would appreciate to see videos about Google also in other languages, e.g. in my native language German. In my eyes, this would be a big advantage for the international community of Google users for alow price.
